*Since vinegar breaks down plastic, a glass bottle will be ideal for this recipe.

The biggest problem with homemade cleaning products is that they are often made from vinegar and the smell is in my opinion really unbearable. So, to remedy the situation, I add peels and leftover citrus fruit (we accumulate them beforehand, in a mason jar in the freezer) and sometimes even branches of conifers in white vinegar that I leave marinated in a hermetically sealed container for 2 to 3 weeks.
I then filter, to keep only the vinegar and add it to my natural cleanser recipe. It works wonders, I swear!
