How to put your GPS in "joy" mode
“I no longer knew what I had to do to have a life that I liked. »
Last week, I told you about an entrepreneur who left the corporate world to follow what made him vibrate and become a restaurateur.
Well, I was that person too. My change was a little less drastic, but I still left the retail world to open an online slow living platform. I had, in me, this thirst for change and I was no longer well in this environment.
And do you know what? For a long time, it didn't make me happy any more than it should. Well no! And it was even worse because I no longer knew what I had to do to have a life that I liked. I worked at home, I saw my children much more, I could create what I wanted, when I wanted, and yet, I couldn't find happiness.
So I worked harder to get more output, more time for myself, more clients, more of anything; which I thought was going to satisfy me.
I had just changed four 25 cents for a dollar, because the problem was not so much my surroundings as my ability to see that everything around me was perfect. That until I could appreciate what I had, it would be pointless and unfeasible for me to have more!
“...my stress and anxiety levels dropped all of a sudden. »
ENLIGHTENMENT
And when I realized that, OMG… everything changed. First, because my level of stress and anxiety dropped suddenly. I was no longer desperately looking for a solution that would one day quench my thirst for happiness. Because he was there. Even imperfect, my life was everything I had ever wanted!
In my questioning trying to figure out what was going wrong, I asked myself: if I could feel as I would like, what would those emotions be? Thinking about it, I realized that I could feel them easily. Then, by training to choose his emotions, our life corresponds to what we want. Cause the result first and the rest will follow. Which means you can be happy even before you make all the changes. That your happiness is not in the hands of the future: it is here, now.
At that point, I decided to make joy a priority in my life and set my internal GPS to joy mode. So I made a list of everything that makes me feel good and made it my priority.
And since the kitchen is where I spend most of my time and I feel good there, I wanted to invest in this little corner of the house. And in this process, among other things, I got myself several Weck jars to make jams, marinades and also to classify my bulk foods. First because Pinterest passion obliges, judge me, but also, and above all, because it relaxes me (I will tell you about it soon in a future article, precisely, of all the scientific benefits that it can bring for stress) .
And since I love my jars so much, I wanted to share them with you and I ordered a few copies for the shop. If ever, you too want to put your GPS on "joy" mode and find this magic in the flavor, the aromas, the textures and in the appeasement that comes from the manual work that cooking brings, these jars in glass will sublimate your passion.
And since we are in the middle of harvest time, it's the perfect time to make tasty homemade jams with seasonal fruits that are full of flavor.
But hey, I have a secret, and since we're in the confidence, I'm going to share it with you. I use Club House Gelling Powder to make no-cook jams.
It's ready in no time! SERIOUSLY, it's like a miracle of simplicity that allows me to be able to do what I love without having the stress of spending the day on it.

MARSEILLE SOAP
The reputation of Marseille soap (made with 72% olive oil) is well established, it is probably the most popular of all the soaps in the world. Extra pure and biodegradable, it has been made the old-fashioned way by hand, in a cauldron, for hundreds of years. There are endless recipes on the web for natural cleansers based on this soap, as much for laundry, home, shaving, etc!
Without palm oil, without animal fat, without perfume, without dye. What else do you want?
For the recipe, it is important to use a real Marseille soap, because regular soaps (with added glycerin) will not allow your laundry to remain liquid.
