Glass & mirror cleaner recipe

the best thing according to the glaziers

“I was already doing my all-purpose cleaner, hand soap and laundry detergent. But the glass cleaner, I had reservations... I thought it would make colorful windows, I who swore only by the Bon Ami! »

That time is over because I tried this new recipe! In this one, there is a little magic ingredient that makes all the difference. It's a grandma's recipe, but apparently widely used in professional window cleaners.

Seriously, my windows and mirrors have never looked so shiny and clean. Cornstarch is said to be the secret ingredient because its abrasive yet gentle nature helps remove ground-in dirt.

It's worth the try, I promise. Here is the recipe!

INGREDIENTS

.

- 2 tbsp. (15ml) rubbing alcohol
- 2 tbsp. (15ml) vinegar
- 1 tbsp. (15g) cornstarch
- 1 1/2 (375ml) cup hot water

- 1 spray bottle

OPTIONAL : Add a few drops of essential oils.

TIP: This recipe is perfect for 16oz spray bottles.

STEPS

1. Pour all the ingredients into the spray bottle.
2. Mix well.
3. Spray a first layer of the product, then wipe.
4. Spray a final coat and use newspaper, or a reusable paper towel, to clean up thoroughly.
5. Wipe until the white residue is gone and the glass shines!
6. Appreciating the landscape suddenly more magnificent than usual ;)

NOTE : Cornstarch can sometimes clog your vaporizer nozzle. Don't worry, just run it under hot water and try again!

LITTLE TIP: Shake well before each use and enjoy the happiness of a homemade product, made with love! I can't wait to hear your impressions :)

MARSEILLE SOAP
The reputation of Marseille soap (made with 72% olive oil) is well established, it is probably the most popular of all the soaps in the world. Extra pure and biodegradable, it has been made the old-fashioned way by hand, in a cauldron, for hundreds of years. There are endless recipes on the web for natural cleansers based on this soap, as much for laundry, home, shaving, etc!

Without palm oil, without animal fat, without perfume, without dye. What else do you want?

For the recipe, it is important to use a real Marseille soap, because regular soaps (with added glycerin) will not allow your laundry to remain liquid.

INGREDIENTS

.

- 2 tbsp. (15ml) rubbing alcohol
- 2 tbsp. (15ml) vinegar
- 1 tbsp. (15g) cornstarch
- 1 1/2 (375ml) cup hot water

- 1 spray bottle

OPTIONAL : Add a few drops of essential oils.

TIP: This recipe is perfect for 16oz spray bottles.

2. Mix well.
3. Spray a first layer of the product, then wipe.

LITTLE TIP: Shake well before each use and enjoy the happiness of a homemade product, made with love! I can't wait to hear your impressions :)

STEPS

1. Boil water in a saucepan.
2. Add grated soap to boiling water, stir well.
3. Once the soap has completely melted, turn off the heat.
4. Off the heat, add the baking soda and the soda crystals.
5. Leave to stand and stir occasionally to loosen foam and prevent mixture from settling.

6. Once the detergent is very cold, remove the excess foam and pour into a jug.

OPTIONAL : Add a few drops of essential oils.

LITTLE TIP: Shake well before each use and enjoy the happiness of a homemade product, made with love! Looking forward to hearing your impressions :)
